PURPOSE:To inject a container with a normally specified amount of a molten substance, by a method wherein, before a container intermittently conveyed by a conveying means is filled with the molten substance in a state to support the container by means of an elevating means. CONSTITUTION:Through drive of a conveyor 2, each container 1 is conveyed by a distance equivalent to one pitch, and is positioned above a cylinder 3 for a stop. The cylinder 3 is actuated to push up the container 1; when the weight of the container 1 is detected by a weight sensor 4, a gate is opened to start filling of a molten substance M into the container 1. With the progress of the filling, a load exerted on the cylinder 3, to which the weight of the filled molten substance M is added, is gradually increased. Thereby, at a point of time when it is detected by the weight sensor 4 that the load attains a total value of the weight of the container 1 itself and a preset weight of the molten substance M intended to be filled, the gate is closed, and filling with the molten substance M is stopped. Thereafter, a rod 3a of the cylinder 3 is lowered to support the container 1 again by means of chains 6 and 6. By conveying the container by a distance equivalent to one pitch, the container filled with the molten substance M is moved forward, and simultaneously a subsequent container 1 is guided to a position above the cylinder 3.
