PURPOSE:To prevent the corelative positional shifting of solid-state image pickup element and to read an image most suitablly against all conditions of temperature variation, time-parameter variation, oscillation, impact, etc., by fixing a mounting member on which the solid-state image pickup elements are mounted on a member holding a focusing lens. CONSTITUTION:A lens barrel 21 is contained in the V-shaped reception part open upward vertically to the holding member 21a and fixed there with a clamping metal 21c which is lens barrel supporter member, then the barrel is mounted in a specific position on an equipment base plate 40. The rear end surface of the lens barrel 21 is formed as a mounting surface 21b on which the front part of a prism 22 can be fitted, on which 21b the prism 22 is fixed with an adhesive. By thus fixing the lens barrel 21 and the prism 22 integrally and preliminarily maintaining the surface accuracy through above processes, production error rate in the following processes of manufacture can be prevented from increasing, hence cost reduction is attained and all the influences of the variation in the qualities of the holding member 21a or mounting member 24 that may result in an irregular picture element after the mounting of a CCD, can be releaved.
