摘要 PURPOSE:To enable a hardening reaction of a surface recording layer to rapidly proceed at a low temperature without any lowering in water resistance, by a method wherein a methylol-modified polyamide resin is used as a water-proofing agent in at least a sepcified quantity to a binder, and a hydrophilic resin is used in at most a specified quantity to the binder. CONSTITUTION:A methylol-modified polyamide resin used as a water-proofing agent in a binder is obtained by modifying a polyamide resin with methylol by using formaldehyde, hardly generates formaldehyde when being heated, and unlike glyoxal, it is not hygroscopic. On the other hand, PVA, starch, cellulose or the like can be used as the hydrophilic resin component in the binder. The water-proofing agent component is used in a quantity of not less than 55wt% to the amount of the binder, while the hydrophilic resin component is used in a quantity of not more than 45wt% to the amount of the binder. By using a large quantity of the methylol-modified polyamide resin, water resistance is prevented from being deteriorated due to moisture, smearing in printing is prevented from occurring, durability in printing is enhanced, and productivity can be enhanced by causing the hardening reaction of the surface recording layer to rapidly proceed at a low temperature.
