PURPOSE:To conduct sure heat accumulation by using a heat accumulating material which assumes a heat accumulating condition and also whose light transmissivity rate changes as a phase moves from a solid phase to a gellike phase, and also detecting the heat accumulating condition of this heat accumulating material on the basis of the change of a light transmissivity rate. CONSTITUTION:A heating container 16 equipped with a heat accumulating material 18, an auxiliary heater 36 and an iluminant element 32 and a photoelectric element 34 is provided in an oil-introduction chamber 8 connected to the oil-punch of an engine through an oil-discharge opening 4a, and oil-introduction opening 4b and oil passages 6, 10. This accumurating material 18 has a characteristic in which a heating condition is assumed as a phase moves from a gel- like phase to a solid phase and also as the phase moves in the reverse direction, a heat accumulating condition is assumed and a light transmissivity rate rises as well. A control unit 50, when it detects the lowering of oil temperature after an engine stop by a temperature sensor 14, detects the heat accumulating condition on the basis of the light transmissivity rate, and controls electrification to the auxiliary heater 36. |
