摘要 Apparatus for compensating for the response inertia of control systems, for example for compensating for the bearing friction of a mechanical discharge control system, in which a uniform discharge of a liquid impounded in a storage capacity is to be maintained by means of an actuating element controlled by the discharge amount, for example a slide valve, segmental valve, weir or the like. To achieve adequately accurate control even in the case of relatively small discharge amounts without requiring external energy for this, to produce a compensating force, a float (28) is suspended on a rope (30) which is wound up on a drum (32) above the maximum impounding head. The drum and a slip clutch (48, 50) are connected to each other by a free-wheeling clutch (44, 46), so that when the filling level is rising the clutch is stationary and when the filling level is falling the clutch is driven by the torque which is produced at the drum and is transferred to a lever linkage (52, 54) coupled to the discharge control system (20, 24). The float (28), in constant contact with the impounded liquid, is dimensioned such that an excess component of its weight, not required for the maximum torque to be produced at the shaft (42), is balanced by buoyancy. <IMAGE>
