<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a device from rusting by providing the end surfaces exposed to the air of both end plates and both the end surfaces of a cylinder with shielding plates, and inserting packing in the said shielding plates. CONSTITUTION:End plates 6a, 6b are fitted in the upper and the lower end opening of a cylinder 1, and shielding plates 14a, 14b are fixed to the end surfaces exposed to the air of the end plates 6a, 6b by means of plural fixing bolts 16 with an 'O' ring 15. Sealing between the shielding plates 14a, 14b and the cylinder 1 and that between the said shielding plates and the end plate 6a are carried out by 'O' rings 17, 18 respectively, and a valve 19 is provided between the said 'O' rings. Therefore, a fitted sealing part between the cylinder 1 and the end plates 6a, 6b can be completely shielded from the atmosphere to prevent rust caused by penetrated moisture. Thus an accumulator can be installed outdoors to make its maintenance and inspection easy.</p> |
