摘要 PURPOSE:To simplify a hydraulic circuit by providing a hydraulic circuit through which hydraulic pressure in accurately switched over to a starting clutch and a direct coupling clutch at the time of switchover between a direct driving and a continuously variable driving, on a continuously variable transmission with a direct coupling mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A clutch control valve (a selector valve) 150 which selectively switches the feed of hydraulic pressure to a direct coupling clutch 15 and a starting clutch 60, is provided on a hydraulic pressure controlling device. And, a clutch hydraulic pressure which is led to the starting clutch 60 or a signal hydraulic pressure which controls the clutch hydraulic pressure, and a pulley hydraulic pressure P5 which is led to a driven side pulley 42 or a signal hydraulic pressure for controlling the pulley hydraulic pressure P5 are led to one end of the selector valve 150 via a three-way valve 159. That is, the higher hydraulic pressure out of the clutch hydraulic pressure or its signal hydraulic pressure and the pulley hydraulic pressure or its signal hydraulic pressure, is led to one end of the selector valve 150 via the three-way valve 159. On the other hand, at the time of direct driving, the starting clutch 60 is shut off and the valve 150 is switched over to the direct driving side.
