PURPOSE:To make a controller of a single set and improve the value of product remarkably by inputting an operation signal and a cooling and heating switching signal into the capacity controller of a compressor for an air-conditioning machine. CONSTITUTION:The capacity controller 1 of a compressor for an air-conditioning machine is provided with an input converting unit 3, converting an operation signal input 9 and a cooling/heating switching signal 10, and a micro-computer unit 5. In the case of cooling operation, the operation signal input 9 (time chart 31) is put ON and the cooling/heating switching signal 10 (time chart 32) is put OFF. The micro-computer unit 5 compares a cool water temperature setter 7 with the input 13 of a temperature sensor 13. When the temperature sensor input value TW is larger than a cool water temperature set value TSC + control temperature width alpha, capacity increasing operation U is effected and a capacity-up output 15 is put ON periodically. In the case of heating operation, the cooling/heating switching signal input 10 (two-dotted chain line of time chart 32) is put ON and a comparison with the temperature sensor input value TW becomes a hot-water temperature set value TSH.
