ON-VEHICLE EMERGENCY ALARM BROADCAST RECEIVER

PURPOSE:To surely inform an emergency broadcast to a driver or the like by activating a changeover switch when an emergency alarm broadcast is received and other audio source is connected to the output side circuit so as to switch the connection to the output side circuit from the audio source to an emergency alarm broadcast receiver. CONSTITUTION:When a start signal of an emergency alarm broadcast is set while other audio source 12 is connected to an amplifier 3 and a speaker 7 via the switching circuit 13, a tuning/detection circuit 8 of a standby section 2 always in the feeding state tunes and detects the signal. An emergency alarm recognizes the signal as the start signal of the emergency alarm broadcast. A control section 10 connected to the discrimination circuit 9 gives a command to a power control circuit 4 to energize a receiver 5 through the recognition. The switching circuit 13 is switched simultaneously in this case to connect the emergency alarm broadcast discrimination circuit 9 and the amplifier 3, and the start signal and emergency information of the emergency alarm broadcast from the speaker 7.
