PURPOSE:To discharge the heat generated by a semiconductor laser with high efficiency by bonding the semiconductor laser and an optical system to a heat sink and connecting the heat sink to parallel plate springs to use them as the support members when the actuation is carried out in two directions orthogonal to each other. CONSTITUTION:The laser light emitted from a semiconductor laser 6 is focused on an optical disk by a condenser grating 2 via an optical waveguide 1. The reflected light sent from the optical disk traces the reverse route and is led to a photodetector 3. Thus the signals of the optical disk can be read. An optical system is totally displaced toward X to follow the up-down movements of the optical disk by flowing a current corresponding to a drive coil 8. Here the optical system is supported by the parallel plate springs 11 and 12 and can have an accurate action. Furthermore the optical system can follow the variation of the track position of the optical disk with supply of the currents corresponding to the drive coils 9 and 10. Both springs 11 and 12 also serve as the wiring to an external control circuit. |
