<p>The garlic component of formula(I), for treatment of coronary thrombosis and arterosclerosis is made by dissolving allycine at 10% concn. in a mixt. of methanol and water, heating the soln. at a high temp. for 4 hours, separating by centrifuging and extracting the supernatant organic phase with chloroform. The extract is dried over MgSO4, the solvent removed under reduced pressure and the prod. purified by pressure chromatography.</p> |
