PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which has a high specific gravity and excellent impact resistance, flow characteristics in molding, rigidity and acoustic effect and is suitable for use as a molding material for cases for acoustic appliances, containing a specified styrene resin and an inorg. filer as main components. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. resin component consisting of 70-98wt% impact- resistance grafted PS (A) obtd. by graft-polymerizing styrene monomer onto at least 2wt% synthetic rubber such as butadiene rubber, etc. and 30-2wt% styrene/isoprene block copolymer (B)obtd. by block-copolymerizing 10-30wt% styrene with 90-70wt% isoprene is melt-kneaded with 20-200pts.wt. inorg. filler (C) (e.g., precipitated barium sulfate). |
