The invention relates to a process for the regeneration of an aromatization catalyst containing a metal of Group VIII supported on zeolite, the process being such that the catalyst is subjected to combustion, and then to oxychloration. According to the invention, the oxychloration step is followed by a hydratation step. The treatment according to the invention increases the selectivity of the regenerated catalyst. |
