<p>A ski binding comprises support pins 1 which are secured in the ski 2 and are placed in corresponding holes 3 in the toe area of the sole 4 of the ski boot 5, and a lock 6 which delimits the movement of the ski boot 5 in the vertical direction. At least that part of the surface of the hole 3 which touches the surface of the pin 1 is shaped as an arc essentially corresponding to the path of movement in that part of the sole 4 of the ski boot 5 which lies near the pin 1 when the skier starts off. <IMAGE></p> |
