PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive material superior in color reproducibility and light fastness by incorporating a combination of a magenta coupler of a type of 1H-pyrazolo[5,1-c]-1,2,4-triazole substd. by a specified substituent at the 3-position, and a specified metal complex in an emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material greatly enhanced in light fastness of the magenta coupler and prevented from increase of yellowing after long storage is obtained by incorporating in a green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer a combination of the 1H-pyrazolo[5,1-c]-1,2,4-triazole type magenta coupler substd. by a substituent represented by formula I (in which R<1> is >=3C alkylene for combining the 3-position C of 1H-pyrazolo-[5,1,- c]-1,2,4-triazole with -SO2-, and R<2> is alkyl, cycloalkyl, or aryl), such as a cou pler represented by formula II, and the metal complex represented by formula III. |
