A prepn. for the prevention of and for the treatment of dermal diseases including oral diseases, and for the treatment of lesions caused by Herpes simplex, comprises glycyrrhizin in an aq. medium, combined with a drug, such as antimycotic agents, antibiotics, steroids, antiathropic, anticariogenic and antiviral agents.
