PURPOSE:To complete alloying in a short period of brazing and to make uniform the structure thereof even after alloying by dispersing uniformly Ti into a noble metal alloy thereby constituting a composite brazing filler metal. CONSTITUTION:The powder or grains of Ti and the powder or grains of noble metal solder are mixed at the ratio corresponding to the compsn. ratio thereof and after the mixture is subjected repeatedly to compression molding and sintering, the mixture is extruded by an extruder, by which the wire or plate- shaped blank material is obtd. Since the Ti is uniformly dispersed in the state of a single metal into the noble metal alloy, the generation of the intermetallic compd. of Ti is obviated. |
