Device equipped with a sloping rotating plate 2, equipped at the periphery of its surface with a series of magnets 10, which bring the magnetic metal caps placed in bulk on the said plate towards a distribution channel. The invention comprises a device for selecting the caps which only allows the caps arriving the right way up to pass. It consists of the proximity controller 12 controlling the jack 13, the rod 14 of which, in the rest position, prevents caps which are positioned the wrong way up from entering. It comprises a bar 17 rejecting the double caps and a deflector 16, which is cut into a curved shape, inverting the caps which are the wrong way up and bringing them back into the stock with a view to leading them into a new cycle. It finally comprises at the end of the chute followed by the caps an adjustable, end of travel stop 24 and the magnets 25, 26 and 27 which hold the first cap in the necessary position in order to facilitate its removal by the jar 8 which it caps. The invention may be used for dispensing caps made of a magnetic metal which are placed in bulk in the stock of the device. <IMAGE>
