<p>To eliminate to a large extent the cooling action of the cooled support tube (1) on the surface of the heated products (9) which lie thereon, carriers (3a) are placed on the support tube whose surfaces (4a) supporting the heated products are arranged alternately on the left and right of a middle plane (10) of the support system. The contact surfaces of the carriers, arranged one after the other on the support tube, have a width and arrangement which are such that on alternate sides they leave free for heating at least 50% of the surface of the heated goods coming in contact with them.</p> |
