PURPOSE:To maintain cooling effect constant by providing a tube which is expanded and contracted according to the temperature of a cooling fluid in a cooling path to a rotor cooling chamber, and increasing and decreasing the open area of a jet hole disposed on the end portion of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:An expansion tube 9 which is axially expanded and contracted according to the temperature of a cooling fluid is provided in a cooling path to a cooling chamber 8 of a rotor 3. A large-diameter portion 9a is disposed on the upper end portion of the expansion tube 9 to be fixed to a ring 6, and a plurality of jet holes 9b are formed on the lower end portion thereof to be slidably fitted to a flow rate control member 12. In this arrangement, the expansion tube 9 is expanded and contracted according to the temperature of a cooling fluid to increase and decrease the open area of the jet holes 9b, whereby the flow rate of the cooling fluid is controlled according to the temperature of the cooling fluid to maintain cooling effect constant. |
