PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Brayton cycle engine capable of improving efficiency in regenerating exhaust heat and advantageous for miniaturization and integration.SOLUTION: A Brayton cycle engine 1 having a plurality of screw rotors 3-5 disposed in a casing 2, further includes a first reference screw rotor 11 and a second reference screw rotor 12 integrally rotated, a compression screw rotor 4 rotated while engaged with the first reference screw rotor 11 so that a working medium is carried while compressed, an expansion screw rotor 5 rotated while engaged with the second reference screw rotor 12 so that the working medium is carried while expanding, and a regenerator 8 having a first flow channel 8a in which the compressed working medium flows toward a heater 6, and a second flow channel 8b in which the expanding working medium flows toward a cooler 7. In the regenerator 8, the compressed working medium and the expanding working medium flow in the directions opposite to each other. |
