PURPOSE:To observe part of a subject image that is magnified by a magnifying optical system incorporated in the camera larger than an image which is observed normally through a finder. CONSTITUTION:The subject image entering a pentagonal prism 19 is reflected by the roof surface 19a, but its center part image is transmitted through a half- mirror part 22 and formed on the incidence end surface 28 of an image fiber 27 through a relay lens 26. This image is transmitted to the projection end surface 29 as it is through the operation of the image fiber 27, passed through an ocular lens 20 and reflected by a reflecting mirror 32, and then observed through the 2nd ocular lens 33. The image magnifying power of the 2nd ocular lens 33 is freely settable regardless of that of the ocular lens 20, so it is set larger than the power of the ocular lens 20 so that focusing is facilitated, thereby attaining focusing operation easily by using the magnified image of the subject center part.
