CONSTITUTION:Respective parts of the device are connected to a bus 1 and the entire operation is controlled by a control part 2. Information on a document 3 is scanned, photoelectrically converted and digitized by a photoelectric convertor 4 so as to be stored in a memory 5. According to the information, for instance, character feeding-out and recognition for the mth line/nth column string area are executed by a pattern processor 6. Moreover a consol 7 is made to enable to interact between a user and the control part 2.
