PURPOSE:To allow teeth to be engaged with each other satisfactorily at all times by forming the outermost peripheral part of a deflection generating member with an elastic circular ring body having high rigidity. CONSTITUTION:An elastic circular ring body 11 is fixedly mounted on a boss 10 having a hole through a center thereof for inserting a high-speed side drive shaft 1. A vertical direction in the figure shows a long axis direction of an ellipse approximation form. When any compression is applied in this direction, the circular ring body is deformed at a free circular ring portion between the compression application part and a part fixed thereof by the boss 10, and thereby it can be subjected to pressure in the long axis direction thereof. Hereby, the circular ring body is compressed in the long axis direction thereof in a stage where it is assembled as a device, and thereby can be restricted to a prescribed value of the long axis, while the flexible spline is compressed into a circular spline due to repulsion force. Thus, a good tooth engagement state can be obtained at all times. |
