PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts, to simplify the assembling, to accelerate the automation, and to reduce the manufacturing cost of a gas lighter by providing a linear or platelike bridge between a control knob and a gas discharge lever, integrating both, mounting the integrated member on a middle case, and engaging the knob with a nozzle case. CONSTITUTION:Bridges 17, 18 are provided between a control knob 16 and a gas discharge lever 15, and both are integrated. The shape of the bridges 17, 17 is formed in a linear or thin plate shape to be readily cut. This integrated member is mounted on a middle case 14, and the knob 16 is engaged with a nozzle case 4. After the assembling work or simultaneously when the assembling work is performed, the bridges 17, 17 are cut, separated into the knob 16 and the lever 15 as individual members. When the lever 15 is opened, a nozzle 3 is pulled down by a spring 6 and a rubber valve 7 is pressed by a valve seat 8 to shut off the gas. |
