PURPOSE:To perform recovery control with high efficiency by providing a bandpass filter for detecting the chopper frequency component of recovery car from the feeder line and controlling exchange between powering/recovery in accordance to the decision results based on the output from the bandpass filter. CONSTITUTION:In a system where A.C. power source 1 is coupled to A.C. side of a forward/reverse converter 2 the D.C. side of which is coupled through D.C. reactor 3 and powering/recover exchange switch 4 to the way between the feeder line 5 and rail 6, a bandpass filter (BPF)15 is connected to the feeder line 5. BPF15 will pass the chopper frequency of chopper control car 7 and control the exchange control circuit 14 by the output from BPF15. Said circuit 14 will decide powering/recovery of chopper control car 7 in accordance whether the output level of BPF15 has exceeded over the recovery exchange setting level to perform exchanging of said switch 4 and reverse conversion control of coverter 2. |
