PURPOSE:To prevent a wheel cover from coming off at the running time of a car by adjusting the resilient force of a leaf spring and then affixing the wheel cover to a wheel rim. CONSTITUTION:After each leaf spring 23 is loosely attached to the inside face of the part 20c opposed to a rim with a bolt 22, the external peripheral edge 20d of a wheel cover 20 is let through the contracted part RN of a wheel rim R into the beat part RB of the wheel rim R and is brought into contact with the ear part RE of the wheel rim R. When the bolt 22 is screwed, the leaf spring 23 is turned to the left with respect to the pivotal point of the bent part 23E, whereby urging the upper-most part 23D of the leaf spring 23 against the beat part RB. Resultantly, a resilient force P is produced and the wheel cover 20 is stuck to the wheel rim R by the vertical component of the resilient force. When the bolt 22 is screwed furthermore, the left side part 23A of the leaf spring 23 makes additional left turn, whereby tightly sticking the wheel cover 20 to the wheel rim R. |
