The recurring required elimination of soot and other deposits from combustion heating boilers is troublesome and inadequate, even when effective chemical cleaning agents can be employed. With a return flue to the boiler and an introduction device for a chemical boiler cleaning agent, the cleaning agent can be introduced not only simply and rapidly, but also distributed so as to be effective in inner regions of the boiler which are difficult to reach.
