PURPOSE:To handle easily in a state that no breaking of wire exists an optical fiber which is weld-connected to an arm by a jig provided with a clamp machine of the optical fiber, by installing a pair of arms so as to be raised and laid down freely to both side parts of its weld-connecting machine so that they cross a set line of the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:Both side plates 38A, 38B are pressed against both side faces of a weld-connecting machine 3, and also a connecting member 39 is pressed against the rear face and fixed by fitting screws 41A, 41B. Arms 20A, 20B provided with clamp machines 22A, 22B are attached pivotally through pins 40A, 40B to the upper end part of both side plates 38A, 38B. When both arms 20A, 20B installed in this way are laid down horizontally, a level of each clamp machine 22A, 22B nearly coincides with an optical fiber connected on the weld- connecting machine 3. When the optical fiber connected by the weld-connecting machine 3 is shifted from one to the other by both clamp machines 22A, 22B, thereafter, the optical fiber can be brought to the post-processing on the weld- connecting machine 3 without carrying it to the other device. |
