Production method for record labels made from a paper disc with a label pre-print and a centre hole. A number of paper discs are lined up by a prong led through the label centre bores and are then cut to size whilst in a compressed position by a cutting tool. Before the final cut obtained by a turning process the lined up paper discs are fitted with two notches extending from the outer edge of the discs up to the final label dia. At least one rotating cutting tool is fitted adjustable along and parallel to the rigidly fixed prong and also movable transverse to it. |
