The device consists essentially of a bush 20 resting on a support surface of an item of equipment and a locking member 24 combining with the bush. A spring 30 is mounted on the temperature sensor 36 between a retaining washer 32 and the locking member 24. The bush 20 screwed on to the item of equipment 38 has a groove 22. The locking member 24 is in the form of a yoke with an opening 26 for the passage of the sensor 36. Two retaining edges 28, 28' are intended to catch in the groove 22 of the bush 20. Application particularly to temperature sensors on core boxes, metal moulds and heating plates in presses. <IMAGE>
