PURPOSE:To facilitate the working of a taper bearing and secure the definition of a copy image by forming the taper bearing on a base and tapering the outer circumferential surface of the shaft of a platen having a light transmission hole in the center, and supporting the shaft rotatably. CONSTITUTION:A copying machine is equipped with the base 7 which moves to the machine body in specific directions and the platen 2 which rotates over the base by 90 deg.. The platen 2 is equipped with the shaft 18 having the light transmission hole 17 in the center under platen glass 13. The outer circumferential surface of the shaft 18 is tapered and this shaft is supported rotatably. Consequently, the platen is supported on the base only by allowing the tapered surface of the shaft formed on the platen side to abut on the tapered surface of the bearing, so the working of the bearing is facilitated, a position shift in a copy image is prevented, and the definition of the copy image is secured. |
