The piece comprises a body 1 traversed by the central conductor 2, and including a lower stock 7 penetrating into the transformer, a cylindrical upper stock 8 receiving the means for connecting the external cable, and a central collar 17. The insulating body includes a central part 18 with cylindrical, metallised outer surface 26 and terminating at the bottom in a groove 20 fastened to the upper surface of the collar 17. A metal flange 22 is fitted to the collar 17 around the central part 18, and is fixed to the collar by screws 24. A conductive gasket 27 ensures leaktightness and electrical connection between the flange 22 and the metallisation 26. This arrangement applies in particular to the production of stationary pieces for medium-voltage transformers. <IMAGE>
