PURPOSE:To secure the stable emission characteristics and shortening of exhaust time, by activating carbonate for decomposition under the stabilized degree of vacuum after flashing a getter to raise the degree of vacuum. CONSTITUTION:A cathode-ray tube being completely exhausted is processed with a getter flashed inside, then loaded on an aging conveyor and knocking takes place. Afterward, activation is carried out for the decomposition of carbonate while ordinary aging takes place. In addition, after getter flashing as an activating method upon knocking, this purpose to raise the degree of vacuum by removing residual gases can be attained even before the knocking. |
