发明名称 APPARATUS USING ULTRASONIC WAVE FOR MEASURING AND CHECKING PITCH OF FUEL ROD OF ATOMIC FUEL ASSEMBLY
摘要 PURPOSE:To measure the pitch of the fuel rods by electronic scanning, by arranging an ultrasonic probe array at the adjacent part of the atomic fuel assembly. CONSTITUTION:An array type ultrasonic wave probe 1 is provided at the adjacent part of the atomic fuel assembly A. Ultrasonic beams are irradiated from ultrasonic wave vibrating elements 7, 7... in the direction of the width of the assembly A and directed to the fuel rods D, D'.... The probe 1 is arranged in the water wherein the assembly is immersed. An ultrasonic wave transmitting and receiving device 3 is oscillated by a signal which is generated by a signal operation control device 4 based on a command signal from an input device 5. An ultrasonic wave vibrating element group 8 of the probe 1 is oscillated by an electronic scanning device 2. The device 2 receives the signal from the device 3 and uses a linear or sector scanning method. The group 8 irradiates ultrasonic wave beams. The reflected waves of the irradiated beams from the fuel rods D, D'... are inputted into the element group 8. The received waves are fed back to the control device 4. The computation is performed based on the command from the input device 5. The computed result is displayed by a display device 6.
