<p>PURPOSE:To form returned sintering fines to briquettes that can be charged into metallurugical furnaces such as blast furnaces by supplying a mixture of portland cement and a specific volume of water and the returned sintering fines to a briquetting machine, sticking and binding the returned sintering fines to the mixture as nuclei and briquetting both and curing the briquettes. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. portland cement in a hopper 7 and 320-25pts.wt. water are kneaded in a kneader 8 to form binders 2a like balls. Said binders and returned sintering fines in a hopper 6 are supplied through a chute 11 into a briquetting machine 12, whereby the fines 1 are stuck and bound to the binders 2a as neuclei, whereby briquettes 4 are formed. The briquettes are cured by preheating and drying with a dryer 13 and are further piled outdoor in a curing yard 19, whereby the briquettes are cured. After curing, the briquettes are sieved with a screening machine 14, and oversizes are fed with a transporting device 20 into a charging raw material tank. Undersizes are returned into the hopper 6 with a transporting device 21.</p> |
