PURPOSE:To enable to discharge foreign matter safely, by commanding a foreign matter discharging operation when the pressure difference between the upstream side and the downstream side of a foreign matter recovering device exceeds a limit pressure difference related to cooling water quantity, in the titled system with a foreign matter recovering device used for a thermal power plant or the like. CONSTITUTION:The cooling water quantity on the inlet side of a foreign matter recovering device 6 is detected S1 by a detector 11, and is inputted into a function generator 12. The function generator 12 calculates the limit pressure difference S2 for possible removal of foreign matter corresponding to the cooling water quantity S1, and inputs it into a comparator 14. The comparator 14 compares a detection signal S3 from a detector 13 for the pressure difference between both sides of a preforated plate (not shown) of the device 6 with the limit pressure difference S2, and when S3 is equal to or higher than S2, a signal S4 for opening a discharging valve 9 and a controlling signal S5 for the vane pitch of a movable-vane pump 3 are outputted from an alarm setter 15, and a foreign matter discharging operation is conducted. Accordingly, the cooling water quantity can be secured irrespectively of the largeness of the quantity, and the foreign matter can be discharged safely. |
