PURPOSE:To connect a plate material to a tube with good adhesion and high producibility by fitting the tube in the tube fitting groove of the plate material, and performing calking by using rolls of special structure having an elastic and a rigid body. CONSTITUTION:A tube 24 is fitted in the tube fitting groove 22 of a plate material 21. This assembly is run in the gap between a calking roll 11 of special structure and a pressing roll 12 under prescribed pressure. This calking roll 11 consists of an internal roll part A having a grooved roll part 14 made of a channel-sectioned recessed part 14', a shaft 13 of a rigid body contacting both sides of the roll part 14, and rolls 15 of elastic bodies sheathing the shaft 13, and an external roll part B made of rigid bodies contacting body sides of the internal roll part A. The pressing roll 12 is made of metal, etc. This method realizes calking so that the inflection edge part 23 of the tube fitting groove 22 of the plate material 21 holds the tube 24, and the plate material 21 is connected to the tube 24 tightly with adhesion. This method is suitable to the connection between the heat collecting plate and heat collecting tube of a solar heat collector, etc. |
