PURPOSE:To perform dialing smoothly by varying intervals of time for voicing according to a telephone number stored previously in an electronic memory when voicing the telephone number. CONSTITUTION:When a register key 3A is pressed and a start/stop key STT/ STP is then pressed, the telephone number which corresponds to said key A is read out of a memory 10 stored previously with telephone numbers and then supplied to a voice synthesizing LSI12 to obtain a voice signal. This voice signal is passed through a filter and amplifier 13 to voice the telephone number from a speaker 2. Then a user while hearing the telephone number dials the number, but the dial numbers 1, 2 3... require longer times to return to the stopper in increasing order, so a CPU9 varies intervals of time for the voicing according to the values of the telephone numbers to be voiced from the speaker 9, obtaining smooth dialing operation. |
