PURPOSE:To obtain high watertight properties and high strength of joint by a method wherein a notch is provided along a border crest line between one face of a washer and the inner side face thereof and an O-ring is fitted into the notch. CONSTITUTION:The notch 15 is provided along the border crest line 14 between one face 12 of the washer 10 and the inner side face 13 thereof. The O-ring 17 if fitted into this notch 15 while the other face 16 of the washer 10 is abutted against the outer face 18 of a splice plate b, thereafter, the joint is tightened by the bolt 1. |
