The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for removing acid gas contained in exhaust gas. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for removing acid gas contained in exhaust gas, which includes the following steps: removing dust and acid gas after supplying exhaust gas to a wet-type scrubber; and removing acid gas after supplying exhaust gas to an ion-exchange scrubber, wherein waste liquid from the ion-exchange scrubber is supplied to the wet-type scrubber. The present invention further relates to an apparatus for removing acid gas contained in exhaust gas.
