PURPOSE:To preserve record permanently by forming a thin-film layer of titanium nitride crystal on the surface of the substrate of an optical disk, and then forming a thin-film titanium nitride crystal layer or hole at the record part of information. CONSTITUTION:The tip part of a titanium metallic wire 8 is positioned at a convergence point 5 where the energy of an electron beam converges with high density, and then heated and molten to vaporize titanium. The vaporized titanium reacts chemically with nitrogen in an atmosphere to produce TiN, which is set to produce its fine grains sticking to the outer circumferential surface of a recovery container 10. In another way, said tip part is nitrified by the heating of electron irradiation in an atmosphere of nitrogen to obtain the fine grains sticking to the outer circumferential surface of the recovery container 10. The produced TiN has crystal structure of the cubic system of an NaCl type having the 1:1 atomic number ratio of titanium and nitrogen. |
