PURPOSE:To avoid the demagnetization caused by a contact between magnetic layers as well as the attenuation of the reproduced output, by securing a certain angle for the magnetic orientation of the magnetic layer of a magnetic card to the longer side direction of the magnetic layer. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic stripe having a certain angle (e.g. 45 deg.) to the longer side direction of a magnetic stripe 2 for the magnetic orientation as shown by an arrow 3 is provided on a single or both surfaces of a substrate 1. Two sheets of such magnetic card are stacked as opposed to each other, and accordingly the angle formed by both directions of magnetic orientations is set at, e.g., 90 deg. to avoid the attenuation due to a contact. |
