PURPOSE:To prevent the photography with a dash of dimming over, by generating an alarm when the quantity of a reflection light received from an object reaches the second reference level higher than a reference level for dimming. CONSTITUTION:When the quantity of the reflection light received from an object for the flash from a discharge tube 4 due to a photodiode 16 reaches a set reference voltage of a level higher than a reference voltage for dimming which is set to the first comparator 10 through resistances 7 and 8, a high-level comparison output is generated from the second comparator 11. Then, a transistor 18 becomes conductive through an AND gate 12 to light an LED19, thus indicating an alarm. Consequently, the photography with a dash of dimming over based on the delay of the stop of light emission of the discharge tube in case of a close photography is prevented surely. |
