PURPOSE:To reduce the number of an photo switch element and simultaneously to reduce insertion loss by arranging the mX(m+1) pieces of the photo switch element in a grid state in an photo channel switch of input 2m and output 2m. CONSTITUTION:The total 2X3 pieces of the photo switch element of the two pieces in a vertical direction and the three pieces in a horizontal direction are arranged for four input and four output and a switch group G is controlled by decoding the 2X3 bits information of an external memory (mX(m+1) bit) M with the aid of a decoder (2m pattern) D. For example, the input No.1 is connected with the output No.4 by conducting the switch element S1 and S2. Thus the number of the switch element is sharply reduced and the insertion loss also can be reduced. |
