PURPOSE:To obtain the titled aromatic and tasty processed product useful as a health food, by picking leaves of passion fruits, washing the leaves, draining and drying the drained leaves, cutting the dried leaves, steaming, roughly rolling, rolling and twisting the cut leaves, intermediately rolling, drying, then pulverizing and sieving the resultant powder. CONSTITUTION:Leaves are picked form new buds of passion fruits and washed in a water tank to remove impurities and adhesive moisture. The above- mentioned leaves are then dried in the sun, etc., cut in a cutter, etc., and subjected to steaming treatment. The steamed leaves are subsequently roughly rolled in a rough rolling machine, rolled and twisted in a rolling and twisting machine, subjected to intermediate rolling in an intermediate rolling machine, dried, pulverized in a shredder and then sieved to afford the aimed processed product having tranquilizing action without inhibiting sleep.
