A catheter, and preferably a urinary catheter, is disclosed, comprising an elongate shaft (1), an insertable end (2) formed in or connected to one end of the elongate shaft, and a discharge end (5) formed in or connected to the opposite end of the elongate shaft. Further, the catheter further comprises an insertion aid (6) at least partly encircling the discharge end, and being integrally and releasably connected to the discharge end. Hereby, easy production is achieved, and at the same time, the insertion aid may easily be removed for use as an insertion aid when using the catheter. |
