<p>The gas turbine consists of a rotor (3) which is mounted on a hollow shaft (4) and is fitted with tangential exhaust reaction jets (6). On a separate shaft is mounted a circumferential rotor (8) with rotor blades (18). Combustion gas is supplied through the hollow shaft (4) in a passage (14), and enters the reaction nozzles through ducts (16). It leaves the outer rotor through the blades. Power is taken from both rotors through separate shafts and combined via a hydraulic coupling and differential drive.</p> |
