The low noise, low wear link for a vehicle track has the rear of each link with a profiled running surface to take the support wheel over the gap between adjacent links and prevent the force of the wheel from splaying the links apart with resulting noise and strain. The link backs have raised sections (51) towards each gap as well as bridging elements (50) to cover the gaps. The design reduces the strain on the link sections between the track links and provides a smoother ride, with less vibration to affect the instruments on board.
