PURPOSE:To obtain an offset printing plate, excellent in wear resistance, reproducibility of half-tone dot points, etc. by transferring electron radiation curing ink having a special composition from an original plate to a substrate by use of an offset printing machine, and then curing and bonding the ink on the substrate through radiation of electrom beam. CONSTITUTION:An electron beam curing ink is prepared by mixing (a) 30-80 pts.wt. of hardening resin such as (metha)acrylate obtained through esterification reaction of polyol and (metha)acrylic acid, (b) 5-50pts.wt. of reactive diluent such as methylol propane tri-(metha)acrylate and pentaerythritol tetra-(metha) acrylate, (c) 0-1pt.wt. of thermopolymerization inhibiting agent such as hydroquinone, and (d) 0-60pts.wt. of pigment. A required offset printing plate can be obtained by transferring the ink from the original plate onto a substrate by use of an offset printing machine and then curing and bonding the same on the substrate through radiation of electron beam. |
